Come join the Delaware Anime Society (and especially our Wilmington Chapter) for an afternoon and evening of fun at the Delmarva Power Conference Center!
Date & Time: Saturday, October 22, 2011, 1-7 Pm.
Location: Delmarva Power Conference Center, 4100 S. Wakefield Drive, Newark,DE (Directions)
Event fee: (Potluck) $5 admission with a main dish that can FEED AT LEAST 10 PEOPLE. Some examples are: precooked hot dogs or hamburgers with buns, chicken, chili, sloppy joes,meatballs, tuna casserole, etc.
$7 admission with a dessert or side dish that can FEED AT LEAST 10 PEOPLE.Some examples are: Brownies, baked beans, dip with chips, potato salad, a cake,
a large pie, cupcakes, etc.
$10 if you bring nothing but your sparkling personality and witty repartee.
Goodybags: Filled with candy!
Anime Screenings: Horror anime and live action screenings
Video Gaming and Tournaments: Compete against your fellow otaku! (Mortal Kombat,Marvel vs Capcom 3, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and more!) Not competitive? Groove the afternoon away on DDR or enjoy open play on a variety of systems such as Wii and Xbox 360!
Card Gaming: Challenge your friends in an UNO deathmatch!
Anime Trivia: How well do you know your anime? Find out in our trivia contest!
Anime Name That Tune: Test your knowledge of Anime OSTs!
Cosplay Contest: Come dressed as your favorite anime, manga, or video game character to compete in our contest!
Raffle: Take a chance at earning awesome prizes like DVDs, magazines, toys and more!
